Bodcau Bayou Bengals
Bodcau Bayou Bengals is a family-run Bengal cattery located in Northwest Louisiana, established by Jamie Trombley. Specializing in exotic looking bengal kittens with the lap cat personality, Bodcau Bayou trains the Bengal kittens right from the start by introducing them to the sounds of a family's everyday life.
Bodcau Bayou is a member of The International Cat Association (TICA), with whom each Bengal cat is registered. It is also a member of The International Bengal Cat Society (TIBCS). Every kitten is vet checked and comes with a health guarantee and all age-appropriate shots.

"My whole life people have delivered sweet, little, under-nourished and abandoned kittens to me asking me to take care of them. I would nurse them back to health. As a result, I was never able to pick the kitten that I wanted. When my last feral cat walked over the rainbow bridge to heaven, I decided to pick my own kitten before someone gave me one. I did a lot of research and the Bengal was my breed of choice. As one breeder says “Bengals are like potato chips, you can’t have just one”. I fell in love with the Bengal Breed and started helping the breeder that I purchased my first Bengal from. Stacy at Texas Star Bengals became my mentor. With her help and guidance, I started the Bodcau Bayou Bengals Cattery. The Bengals are so beautiful and exotic looking. Their natural traits make them the perfect family pet, because they want to be in the middle of everything that is going on. My Bengals all have different personalities and react differently to each member of my family. Some love water and play in the tub with my grandchildren, while others play fetch, steal pencils, car keys, wash cloths and many other articles of clothing. The trick is to find their hiding place or put your things away! I now have three stud cats, Stargazer, Tuscan Sun and Easy Duz It. These beautiful boys meet and exceed the Bengal Breed Standard. They are the foundation of my breeding program. Some of the females here are descendants of that first Bengal that I got from Stacy of Texas Star Bengals. Other females here have been purchased from a variety of breeders for the traits they could bring to my breeding program. My breeding goal is to breed happy, healthy, friendly kittens with that exotic look of the Asian Leopard Cat." |

Kitten Raising
The Bengal kittens are raised with the owner's grandchildren in their busy home. Some of the Bengal cats can be seen at the local youth baseball games, dance lessons and also enjoy fun filled rides on the four wheeler. They are a part of the family and seem to want to go everywhere. A leash means a trip outside and they are always up for that. Their favorite events are sleepovers or slumber parties.

Kittens Available
Bodcau Bayou also raise foundation kittens, along with Bengal kittens. These walk like the Asian Leopards and make sounds like leopards.
