Mr. Bakerink was born on January 28, 1958 in Freeport, Illinois. Jeff developed an entrepreneurial spirit and a fascination for sales at an early age as his father led the family across the country developing sales teams for a national publisher and sales company. Jeff’s dad would take him along with him to various sales meetings held across the country where Jeff learned the importance of developing solid, personal relationships first hand.
After living for brief periods of time in approximately 15 different states, the Bakerink family settled in Southern California in 1970. While Jeff was in the 6th grade, his uncle decided to pursue law as a second career and started law school. Jeff’s uncle would frequently take Jeff with him to his law school classes and Jeff then realized that his career paths would eventually lead him into law and business.
After graduating from college, Jeff attended law school full time while he also continued his full time employment. While in law school, Jeff was elected President of the Student Bar Association and competed in several National Honors Moot Court competitions before graduating from law school in 1986.
