- Bolin Shavings, Inc was established in the Spring of 2005 by Doug and Adrian Bolin in Mt Vernon, Texas. Doug and Adrian were born and raised in Mt Vernon, and now they are raising their three sons in the same wonderful community. Doug is in charge of sales and production while tending to the day to day challenges that arise at the mill. Adrian is over bookkeeping while teaching 1st Grade at Mt Vernon Elementary. We are trying to build a business that one day our sons will be proud to step into, if they desire.
