Boodleby’s – a boutique for children – has its home in a green 18th century townhouse near the corner of South King and Loudoun Streets. Here, in the heart of historic old town Leesburg, are elegant fashions for children displayed in an enchanting setting. Handmade clothing, fuzzy toys, magic dragons and wooden lollipops are among the treasures to be discovered at Boodleby’s. (Don’t worry – we have candy lollipops too.)
“Posh Frocks & Lollipops” – you’ll find unique clothing for children of all ages, plus old-fashioned toys and hand painted furniture and gifts that will delight everyone. For newborns, there are layette, plush toys, christening gowns and many other unique gifts. You’ll find the perfect choice for special occasions, too. There are children’s wedding fashions for flower girls and ring bearers, first communion and party dresses, Easter outfits, fancy dresses with lace or crocheted trim, smocked dresses, and whimsical jewelry. You’ll also find puppets, dolls and other kinds of fun gifts with an “attitude all their own.”
Jean Keeler is the owner of Boodleby's Posh Frocks and Lollipops. She has been making children's clothes for over 35 years for her children and grandchildren, and has been providing custom sewing for over twenty years. The popularity of her unique hand-crafted clothing at local craft shows led her to open her own children's boutique in 1990. Over the years Boodleby's has expanded from small storefronts in McLean and Middleburg, VA to its current location in Leesburg, Virginia.
