My father, Bill Boydstun, worked as a building inspector for Golden Rain Foundation from 1974 to 1985. Working in Rossmoor gave him great insight and built-in clients with all the friends he had made as an inspector. In 1986, he decided to start his own company, Boydstun Construction. He had no game plan other than hard work. He did, however, have a business plan: honesty, integrity, quality and client satisfaction. In 1986 my father hired me as his first employee.
