About the Festival
Since its inception in 1995, Bradford Film Festival has gone from strength to strength, presenting new and classic films from around the world. Alongside dozens of premieres and previews it hosts masterclasses, ‘Screentalk' interviews, the annual Crash Cinema symposium, director showcases and tributes to cinema veterans.
Each year the festival presents its Lifetime Achievement Award, celebrating cinematic excellence, while the Widescreen Weekend draws large format movie enthusiasts from around the world with the Museum's ability to show every film format up to and including Cinerama and IMAX.
Bradford Film Festival is a project of the National Museum of Photography, Film & Television. Find more information about the venue for BFF and the other special events we host at the museum website.
