This website is for the Portuguese Evangelical Church which is a community of Brazilian and Portuguese speaking people who love the Lord. We have services on Saturdays at 7:30pm and all are welcome to listen to Pastor Timoteo Azevedo Jr. teach the congreation the Word of God as it is written. The Word of God is taught as is, not like some churches that change a little here or there so as not to upset the congreation or twist the Word to make people feel better about the way they are living. The Word is simply taught as, if you do not do as God commands, you will not get into heaven. This includes that you believe that Jesus is the Son of God, came down to Earth to die for our sins and three days later, rose from the dead and after fourty more days on Earth ascended into the Heavens to sit at the right hand of God.
