Description
Have you heard of Mount Washington in New Hampshire? You may have... despite its relatively short height (6288'), the weather station on the summit recorded the world's highest surface wind speed of 231mph. It was here as a weather observer that cemented my involvement with photography. I should have stayed inside during the night shift, or when the temperature was -20f, or when the wind was gusting to 145mph. Instead I found myself drawn outside to photograph the Aurora Borealis or document my co-workers trying to stand up against the wind.
Today, I'm based out of New Hampshire and photograph diverse subjects ranging from climbers on the Northeast's tallest cliffs to Western US landscapes. I enjoy the technical and creative aspects of these subjects. My goal is to produce outstanding images whether I'm working with a local non-profit or a national publication.
