Optimist Club members are area residents that have joined together to aid and encourage the development of youth in the belief that the giving of one's self in service to others will advance the well-being of community life, humankind, and the world. We sponsor youth activities like an annual Fishing Derby, Youth Appreciation and Oratorical Contest, Respect for Law, and others.
