Simon is 37 years old and a local boy. He has a son aged 16 who attends Bognor Regis Community College and a 3 year old daughter. He has lived locally in the Bognor Regis area for most of his life and was educated at local schools and works locally in the construction industry.
Simon has represented Bersted on both Arun District Council and Bersted Parish Council for the past 13 years. Currently serving as Chairman of Bersted Parish Council, he is also leader of the Liberal Democrat Opposition Group on Arun District Council and represents Pevensey Ward on the Bognor Regis Town Council.
He is a proven leader in the local community. He has a reputation locally as a person who gets things done. He will champion the people's views on the regeneration of Bognor Regis unlike the current Conservative
