Title

Sisters Hotel Restaurant - Welcome

Description

The Old West-the real West-where land titles changed hands in the course of a poker game and the doors swung wide on Bronco Billy's Saloon, where hearty grub and a hearty welcome were the order of the day in rugged little frontier towns like Sisters, Oregon.

The Old West is alive and well, carefully maintained by the proprietors of the Hotel Sister's Restaurant. The restaurant, a two-story wood frame building dating back to 1912, occupies a prominent spot along the main street of Sisters. It's easy to see at a glance that the town and the restaurant are a perfect match; they radiate plenty of genuine charm and character to captivate visitors traveling through the resort lands just east of the Cascades.

Next to the main dining room is Bronco Billy's Saloon, named after the legendary army scout. The massive hand carved back bar that dominates the room was brought around the Horn from Philadelphia to San Francisco in the 1860's. From there, it made its way to Bend, later to be discovered and restored for the Hotel Sister's Restaurant. In the saloon, the Rugged West is allowed to appear with stuffed and mounted game, plus an exuberant decor well suited to any place with the name Bronco Billy's.
