Junior League of Brooklyn -- Women Volunteers
Description edit
Where can women volunteer in Brooklyn, New York? The Junior League of Brooklyn identifies, creates and participates in projects that match community needs with our members' skills and interests. Our volunteer training emphasizes the development of leadership skills for women. We reach out to teens from culturally diverse backgrounds, children at risk, rape survivors, the homeless and others in need. We provide flexible volunteer opportunities to fit into our members' busy schedules. Through hands-on experience, our members develop leadership, communication, fund-raising, and management skills. The Junior League of Brooklyn has been working with the Brooklyn community since 1910. The volunteer office is located at 55 Pierrepont Street, Brooklyn, New York 11201
