The Broward County Green Party
We are a political group sharing common visions for a better world. The ten key values described below express our value system and unite greens worldwide. We make decisions using the consensus process. Information about this process can be found on the Pinellas Greens website.
We invite you to learn more about us, join, and meet with us at our regularly scheduled quarterly meetings the fourth Saturdays of January, April, July, and October, location to be announced before each meeting. Sometimes, the location cnanot be arranged until the last minute. Please call us for meeting place if it is not posted here. 1-877-757-3949. We schedule other meetings as needed. 1. GRASSROOTS DEMOCRACY
We strongly support sweeping campaign finance reform and oppose the undue influence vested corporate interests enjoy in government at all levels. We support publicly financed campaigns and are in favor of ranked voting as the fairest way to run elections. Every citizen of Broward County deserves a say in decisions which affect her/his life. We will work to increase opportunities for public participation at every level of government and hold each of our public representatives accountable to the people who elect them.
