Jean Slocum purchased Brown Bag Gourmet in 2001, at that time the company was 6 years old and had been on the world wide web for 4 years. The company was primarily a coffee company and it has grown since then. In late 2005 the Slocum's were looking for a warehouse close to home and found one in Milligan just 12 miles from their farm. Jean figured since she was going to be at the warehouse anyway that she'd just make a store of it. The vision grew and now we have THE BROWN BAG STORE.
At THE BROWN BAG STORE you'll find tables to sit and have a cup of tea or coffee, breakfast or brunch of fresh baked goodies.
Purchase items from our Internet coffee and tea company, Brown Bag Gourmet Goodies, bulk foods from our Amish Style bulk food isle, products from Prairie Rose Ranch or fresh baked goodies from our on-site bakery.
