Since its foundation in 1960, BRUKER has concentrated its research and production in the areas of magnetic resonance and laboratory magnets, while at the same time diversifying into other analytical fields.
In 1963, BRUKER built the world's first commercial pulsed NMR spectrometer. Pulsed NMR, initially used by a few pioneers only, has since evolved into a major analytical technique.
An important milestone was the beginning of the collaboration with Spectrospin AG/Zürich which marked the entry into the field of high-resolution NMR.
