Description
The British School of Lomé was established in 1983 to serve those expatriate families based in Togo, that favoured an international education within a British framework. The boarding facilities quickly developed and the school now serves families based in many different countries. The British School of Lomé is a co-educational boarding and day school for children aged from 3 to 18 years and is attended by pupils of 34 different nationalities.
The school has earned a reputation for obtaining high standards of work and behaviour from its pupils and for taking their general well-being seriously.
Our school motto ‘Endeavour Is All’ reflects that we value not only academic success but encourage talent of all kinds, whether in academic studies, art, drama, music or games; and that we take the position that the pupil who is kind and helpful, who has a positive attitude to school life and fellow pupils, is considered every bit as worthwhile as the brilliant scholar, artist or athlete.
