The original music store. Started 26 years ago by working musicians in a small drum shop on B Street, our current 10,000 square foot facility at 245 South Railroad Avenue, in San Mateo is housed in a historic building with lots of room to try out guitars, basses, pianos, drums, sound and recording gear in a relaxed atomosphere. We have working musicians still working the floor so you can count on plenty of expertise and know how to meet every level of musician.

Rental Department: Rent gear for your next gig or event, or try out a guitar, bass, drums or a band instrument for a few months from our well stocked rental department.

Lessons: Our teaching staff include some of the best musicians in the bay area. Choose from guitar, bass, piano, drums, sax, flute, vocal, trumpet, or trombone lessons to broaden your horizons.
