Description
The Bogue Tuchenna District is in Southeast Louisiana and is one of seven districts in the Istrouma Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. We serve Cub Scout Packs, Boy Scout Troops and Venturing Crews in all of Washington Parish and Western and Northern St. Tammany Parish.
As of December 31, 2004, the Bogue Tuchenna District is composed of 49 units and serves over 1400 scouts and nearly 600 adult volunteers. During the year our district hosts two weeks of Cub Scout Day Camp, a District Pinewood Derby, Cub Family Weekend, Webelos Woods, District Camporee, Explorer/Venture Canoe Marathon and many other events.
