Buddy Allin, 5 time winner on the PGA Tour, 1980 Winner of the New Zealand Open and 1997 American Express Senior PGA Tournment Winner has spent his life playing and studing golf. He first started playing golf with three borrowed, wooden shafted clubs at the age of 13. This led him on a life-long journey to improve his own golf game.
Buddy was a 1st Lieutenant in the Army and a proud Vietnam Veteran, serving 18 months in Vietnam. He says his tour of duty was "one of the best and most exciting experiences in my life."
His career has been diverse, not only playing the PGA and Senior PGA Tours, he has spent time in Golf club manufacturing, as Head Golf Professional, owning and operating his own Pro Shop, Director of Golf at Sun Lakes Country Club, where he not only ran all golf operations, but also was in charge of the bar and restaurant. Buddy has worked as an Instructor for the San Diego Golf Academy at Myrtle Beach and Phoenix campus's, and is currently an Instructor at the San Diego campus. He has written (by himself) a golf instruction book, Center-Line, and produced his own golf instruction video.
