- Tom went to TAFT high school when the musical "Grease", was being conceived by two classmates from the school. Tom had his own T.V. show on WGN and a Sunday dance party every Sunday afternoon at the old Chez-Pane night club. The show was called "Time for Teens" and lasted seven months until graduation in June of 1958. Tom was then on his way to Parris Island for Marine boot camp. During this time our country was preparing to invade Lebanon. After Tom's active duty he finished his tour of duty as an instructor of Atomic, Bio, and Chemical Warfare. Tom was also the photographer and ran the dark room for the Second Marine Air Wing at Glenview Naval Air Station.
