In 1997, the first among the local publishers, Buka unlocked the door to the world markets and licensed its "Rage of Mages" and "Vangers" abroad. The success story was continued by the release of "Hard Truck" in 1999, which climbed up sales charts in 60 countries throughout the world.
Since that time and up to the present Buka has released more than 100 games both home-grown and localized, including the purchased Heroes Series by 3DO, GTA Series by Take2, Colin McRae Rally 2.0 by Codemasters and made in Russia Fair Strike, Battle Mages and The Entente: World War I Battlefields.
Russian games produced by Buka became the internationally anticipated and recognized brands because of the enthusiastic and professional approach of Buka Team to the digital entertainment business. Buka’s games came to 70 countries of the globe, covering North and South America, Europe, Asia, Australia and even South Africa.
