On October 22, Microsoft will officially release the latest version of it’s operating system, Windows 7. The successor/upgrade to Windows Vista has been met with much anticipation and generally favorable reports from the press and a large beta test group (about 8 million). Most of the reports I’ve read are that Windows 7 will help users forget (hopefully) the disappointment that many had with Windows Vista due to it’s problems prior to the release of its Service Packs.
