Description
The timber used for the butterfly frames (framed butterflies, bugs, beetles, scorpions and spiders) is grown on sustainable timber plantations and lacquered with a deep, rich, cherry stain. I use only the highest quality moldings and take great pride in the finish of each frame. I personally assemble each setting, and this delicate process includes the relaxing and mounting of each butterfly by hand. The result is a beautiful product which is not only exquisite, but also environmentally friendly.
Each butterfly frame (framed butterfly) comes with a plaque stating the country of origin, date, common name and scientific name for each species. On the back of each frame is an information card with interesting, factual information about each of the butterflies.
