Cadmium are the leading specialists in the UK for royalty free stock photography, providing images from all the major libraries in the RF market today, including PhotoDisc, Digital Vision, Stockbyte, Corbis, BrandX Pictures, image100, Image Source and ImageState amongst our large and varied collection. We are constantly adding new libraries from around the world keeping the collection fresh and up to date.
With the launch of the new site last year we took the decision to split our product offering into three distinct sections: Royalty Free which encompasses all major royalty free brands; Exclusive which now contains those libraries which are exclusive to Cadmium. This is an area we intend to concentrate on, working with individual photographers and smaller collections who appreciate the expertise we are able to use in bringing them to the market. Lastly there is CD Stock Shop meeting the ever increasing demand for cheaper, more budget driven products, where quality is not so much the issue as price. We also use this area for clearing out excess stock and discontinued product lines so it's worth checking this out from time to time for that real bargain!
Cadmium was established in 1993 by Bridget Lovatt with the goal of providing a One Stop, Just in Time solution to the creative industry needing typefaces and imagery. Responsible for introducing PhotoDisc and (Corbis) Digital Stock to the UK market, over a period of time this has evolved into Cadmium being the number one provider of Royalty Free stock photography and illustration in the UK today, representing nearly 40 different publishers from all over the world.
