Like a tree with its roots reaching into the soil, the Carlisle Area Health & Wellness Foundation has grown into a significant feature of the area's healthcare landscape. The Foundation was created in June 2001 from the sale of the Carlisle Hospital and Health Services, Inc. and the transfer of income from related endowments and trusts.
