Calvary Lutheran Church was established April 22, 1923 in Rio Linda, California, a suburb just north of Sacramento. We serve the communities of Rio Linda and Elverta as well as many communities in the greater Sacramento Area. Pastor Bruce Johnson is serving as Interim Pastor.
Worship: United in faith and hope, praising Father, Son and Holy Spirit, God's people gather strength from the Good News of Christ in Word and Sacrament.
Ministry in daily life: Rooted in God's grace, God's people help each other live according to God's commandments, trying to be signs of Christ's welcome and love in our homes, neighborhoods, work, schools, community, and the world.
