Welcome to Camp Beech Cliff!

Camp Beech Cliff aspires to provide children and adults Outdoor educational experiences that foster Fun, Teamwork, Self-Esteem, Positive Decision Making, and Relationship development through physical and social growth. Our primary focus is to be a resource for Children.
Located on a 50-acre campus on Echo Lake bordering Acadia National park, Camp Beech Cliff was established in the 1950’s as a private summer camp for boys. It closed in 1978 and reopened in 1991 as a day camp for boys and girls.
In 1995 a campaign was launched to purchase the 50-acre property Camp was leasing to ensure Beech Cliff would remain a permanent resource for Island youth. These efforts were successful and the property was purchased in 1996. A year later, the camp was incorporated as a nonprofit and in 1999 Camp Beech Cliff became an independently operated day camp.
