- "One of the first things a cancer survivor wants to do is take control of their health again. I wanted to return to the gym and continue my training regime and my love of playing soccer, but I was unsure of what I could or should not do in the gym. When I contacted personal trainers, they were reluctant to work with me - probably because of insurance factors but I suspect, moreover, because they did not feel they knew enough about the affects of exercise on the development of cancer."
