Now as a significant player in the giftware industry, we employ 80 staff in the UK, operating from our new purpose-built 170,000 square feet warehouse.
Our initial business was born of the 1972 miners' strike and the resulting cuts in electricity supply, when current Managing Director, Mike Winch and a friend Ray Poultson started making and selling decorated candles.
Over the last 10 years our portfolio has adopted the format with which we are associated today featuring good design, colour co-ordination, and products that stand out on the shelf as an attractive impulse purchase.
