- In the year of 1997, the visionary mind of Luz Maria Vivas, making use of her craft experience and the knowledge in the elaboration of decorative candles, trains in her small family workshop a reduced group of artisans for her future project of candles. It begins then the production of elaborate candles carved by hand, with various fragrances that impregnate richly the environments, candles with inlays of natural elements as: Bamboo, Flowers, Fruits and Cinnamon. In only three years, this visionary manages to impact the public with their extraordinary creations, managing to grasp an important clientele in Colombia, that surprises and fascinates, by their exclusive candles carved by hand. People of all regions of Colombia – even tourists – came to admire and acquire her specialty products. Because of such massive local success, she was urged to move her craftsmanship to the United States where, since 2004, the same beautiful candles are created and sold at the Miami headquarters, CANDLES FOREVER. Just as in her native country, Luz Maria Vivas has been wonderfully successful in her American store. She still provides customers with innovative and stunning candles, and is always creating new, impressive designs. Many can be custom-made, with shapes resembling pyramids and hearts, with a wide variety of possible fragrances, sizes, colors, and heights.
