Jeffrey has a Masters degree in Physical Therapy and an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science. He has attended all courses in the Small Animal Rehab Practitioner’s Certification presented by Northeast Seminars and the University of Tennessee. Jeffrey will begraduating class in December, 2003. Some of the distinguished instructors for the certification classes are: Robert Taylor, DVM, MS, Darryl Millis, DVM, MS, David Levine PhD, PT, Deborah Gross PT, OCS, Carrie Adamson, MSPT, Denis Macellin-Little, DVM, MS. Jeffrey has also completed the canine portion of the APTA’s continuing education course for animal physical therapy.
Jeffrey has been a certified massage therapist since 1989 with extensive hands on experience working with humans and dogs. He has attended a number of specialty courses in canine soft tissue mobilization including personal and class instruction in the use of TTouch techniques for companion animals. He also utilizes myofascial release techniques learned while studying with John Barnes, PT.
Over the past ten years, while providing support for his wife at dog shows, Jeffrey has performed an extensive personal study of canine gait analysis. This is a skill that enables him to better determine your dogs rehab requirements.
