- We've "been in rescue" in one form or fashion for most of our adult life - either finding a home for a dog needing rescue or rescuing a dog ourselves (we currently have five). Throughout our wonderful journey in life with dogs, we've seen dogs improperly identified and/or then adopted into human lifestyles that just don't mix well. We've encountered rescues made by people who didn't look at all aspects of what owning a dog requires - that it was an impulse decision later regretted. Or we've seen countless dogs given up to shelters and rescue organizations because they were either too much of an inconvenience, too hard to handle or had "behavioral problems."
