Cannons Marina in the early 1950’s was operated as a fishing camp near Sarasota on Florida’s west coast barrier island, Longboat Key. Paul D. Miller purchased Cannons Marina from Ernie Cannon in 1955 with a handshake.
Paul’s son, David, worked in the marina starting at age 5. In the 1970’s David purchased Cannons from his father and become the second-generation holding uninterrupted ownership for over 54 years!
We carry the best boat and motor products available, including Grady White Boats, Scout Boats and Yamaha motors, with professional and exceptional customer service. We service the Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, Ruskin area. We are competitive with all of our boating products.
We have the largest and newest boat rental fleet on Sarasota Bay available for daily or weekly boat rentals.
