Canterbury Sports Wholesale was formed by Murray Smith in 1981, it’s retail based parent company is Canterbury Sports Depot. By operating as a mail order catalogue based company Canterbury Sports Wholesale was better able to serve it’s customers on a national basis. Over the past 24 years the company has grown from a black & white, 8 page catalogue to a 56 page colour catalogue distributed to 25,000 customers nationwide. Our staff have 70 years experience in teamwear between them.
Married with three children, Murray is the Managing Director and handles the compilation of both summer and winter catalogues. Having had 40 years experience in product selection Murray also prices most club quotational work. Interests include cricket, soccer and most sports.
