Founded in May 1994 to service the needs of the local Canberra Avionics market, Capital Aircraft Services is now located at Illawarra Regional Airport or also known as Wollongong (YWOL). It is ideally located close to Sydney and Sydney's rail network. In fact the Airport is all but colocated with Albion Park Rail station.
We have a broad CASA CAR 30 Certificate of Approval that allows us to carryout activities that much larger companies could only dream of! To date we are able to cover all general aviation non group 20 Electrical, Instrument and Radio maintenance requirements. We also cover all Engine /Airframe maintenance requirements for Class "A" Pilatus PC12 and Beech1900 series aircraft.
Our customer base covers from private pilots, owners, and builders requiring headsets, GPS, and specialised avionic design and installation to our large commercial customers requiring component, line, and heavy maintenance, such as National Jet (QANTASLINK), Jetstar, Raytheon, Emu Airways, and the NSW Ambulance Helicopters(CHC Helicopters)to name but a few.
