Description
Amy lives on Cape Cod with her husband Sean, son Keegan and their poodle Isabelle. Coming from a long line of photographers; her grandfather was and her father is a photographer; she studied for four years under Peter Laytin and earned an honors degree in Communications with a concentration in photography. After graduating, Amy worked for local newspapers as well as studying with top local wedding photographers before starting her own business eight years ago! Amy describes her style as casual and journalistic!
The Professional Photographers of Massachusetts annual convention and print competition was held on February 27 – March 1 2004. Photographer Amy Riley entered 3 images that were judged by her peers. As a result, she received 2 blue ribbons and one red ribbon for her efforts. In addition, this was Amy's first time entering competition and she received the award for the highest scoring print for a first time entrant. Amy’s two blue winning images were photographs taken at actual 2003 weddings held at Bourne Farm and The Johnson Center in Woods Hole. These images are on display at her studio.
Amy is a member of The Professional Photographers of America, The Professional Photographers Association of New England, The Professional Photographers of Massachusetts and is past President of The Professional Photographers of Cape Cod.
