For the past 17 years, Cape Bakkie Hire has been providing excellent service, and quality vehicles throughout South Africa, from its community-based head office in the Western Cape.
From humble beginnings, the Founding Member, Claudia Pretorius started Action Cape Vehicle Hire and Brokerage in September 1997. Since then, she has grown the organization into a viable business, introducing partners and securing strong association with industry leaders. The close corporation has recently converted into a Company, and currently trades as Car Hire South Africa (Pty) Ltd.
Car Hire SA is a 30% black-owned company. The three directors representing the majority shareholder are Rafiq Samsodien, Claudia Pretorius, and Henry Pretorius. All three are highly experienced business people who have owned and managed manufacturing concerns.
