A unique driving saddle / pad making driving a more comfortable experience for your Horse

In 1999, after years of searching for a Driving Saddle which would more readily take into account the needs of the modern horse, Carol Pawson and Margaret Wooding started designing the first CarMar Saddle. In 2000 the "Alpha" Driving Saddle prototype was developed, using the finest quality materials available, with Frank Baines a Master Saddler of Frank Baines Saddlery, Walsall . The development has continued to the present day.
After filing an application for a patent and securing government innovation funding, the partners formed CarMar to develop and market the saddle, and other ergonomically designed harness.
Carol has worked for 10 years as Practice Manager to an Equine Osteopath, much of the time being spent actively in the field learning to recognise bio-mechanical malfunction in horses, assisting in its remedy and liaising with the Equine Industry in general on this subject. Carol lives in Far Forest, Worcestershire.
