Pulmonary illnesses or defects can compound the complexity of treating patients who have been in a car accident or suffer from congenital anomalies. CareMeridian's industry leading 1:4 staff-to-patient ratios and adherence to state and national standards give slow-to-progress, medically complex patients the best opportunity for improvement. Care Meridian is able to do the following:
- Wean patients with pulmonary illnesses from a ventilator and/or tracheostomy
- Treat neuromuscular disorders that attack the nerves in muscles and hinder a person’s ability to control bodily movements
- Care for congenital anomalies that affect everything from vital organs to spinal malformations
- Custom test to demonstrate that specialized patient interventions are actually making a difference
Rehabilitation Services
For over three decades, CareMeridian has provided individualized rehabilitation care to patients who have brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries. Their staff of therapists have the experience and training to help their clients make strides toward a higher level of independence. They also utilize The Rancho Los Amigos Scale to help track stages of recovery. During recovery, family members are welcomed and encouraged to join as their loved one achieves a higher level of functioning.
