Career Resource Homepage

Description

The Career Resource Homepage is a voluntary project that I have been working on since November, 1994. The career resources on the Internet have exhibited a chaotic growth. This is an attempt to give some form to what is out there. I want to thank Dr. Diana Leis Delker, Tom Tarentelli and everybody else in Rensselaer's Career Development Center who have been more than a family to me and were gracious enough to let me host this site on the Rensselaer server even after I graduated. Finally, the site is getting its own domain name CareerResource.net

The Career Resource Homepage has become a clearinghouse of employment related information on the internet. It has been widely quoted in various articles, including the Wall Street Journal ( April 4, 1994-2000 Pg. B1), Review (February 17, 1994-2000, Volume 16 - Number 5), Financial World (January 1996). It has also been reviewed in various online resources such as Magellian - Mckinley's Internet Directory, iGuide Net Review , Internet Business 500 by Ventana Communications Group, and New Rider's Official World Wide Web Yellow Pages.

It has been rated as one of the TOP 100 sites on the Internet by PC Magazine (Hard Copy: February 6, 1996, pg. 124 ). It has also recieved Starting Point's Editor's Choice award, Kaplan's Best Career Site Trohpy and Virtual City's Virtuocity Award medallion.
