- Dr. Abadjieff has a truly international background. She is from a medical family. Her father was Surgeon General to King Hassan II of Morocco and had a distinguished international career. Dr. Abadjieff followed this tradition by beginning her studies in Sofia, Bulgaria and obtaining her medical Degree at the Bulgarian Academy of Medicine in Sofia in 1968.
