- Welcome to Carolina Cross Connection! We invite you and your youth group to join us this summer for a truly unique experience. A week at CCC is a week of building a Christian community, practicing leadership skills, serving people in need, and knowing God more deeply. You and your youth group will gather at one of CCC’s five camp locations, with 60-70 other campers from all over the nation. Each day, youth and adults are sent out in small work teams to perform home repairs for elderly, disabled, lonely, and impoverished folks throughout western North Carolina. Projects might include construction (porches, steps, wheelchair ramps, floor repair, roof repair, outhouses, etc.), painting, yardwork, underpinning a mobile home, house cleaning, and other jobs. Our campers also strive to share the love of Christ with the folks for whom we work, ministering to their emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual needs as well. In the evenings, all participants return to camp to participate in community building, worship, games, devotional time, sharing, and all-around craziness! A week at CCC is a week of spiritual renewal, service to others, and growing in community. It is a week of experiencing the presence of God, and knowing Him more deeply. It is a week of faith in action…love in person.
