- Carolina Armageddon is a LAN-Party (which stands for Local Area Network) event hosted by the Carolina Computer Gaming Association (CCGA). The purpose of Armageddon is to provide an environment where people with similar interests (i.e. Computer Hardware, Software, and GAMES!!!) get together on a regular basis and play multiplayer computer games. The best thing about a LAN-Party is the lack of Lag (see below) that is experienced while playing.
