Alan G. Posta, Jr., M.D. joined the Carolina Orthopaedic Center in 1996 specializing in Sports Medicine and Shoulder, Elbow, and Knee Reconstructive Surgery.

In 1998, Dr. Michael O'Boyle, M.D., who specializes in Acute Trauma, Post-Traumatic Reconstruction and Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery, joined the practice.

As the practice expanded, construction on a new location began in March 1998. The Carolina Orthopaedic Center moved to our current location in May 1999. In January 2000, Dr. Stanley Reid, M.D. joined the practive specializing in Spine Surgery. Tricia McCrea serves as Dr. Reid's Physician Assistant.
