- Casemaker is a legal research service for State Bar Associations and their members.
Casemaker’s story is a story about partnering. Our mission is to provide the most value and service to our State Bar Associations – these are organizations that we consider to be members of the Casemaker family "Consortium". Our business grew out of a project with the Ohio State Bar Association, one of our founding organizations, and [Joseph Shea], a leading attorney and businessman in Cincinnati to provide online access to Case Law and State Legal Information for Ohio attorneys. From this beginning, our team has grown to process and index legal information for over half of the state bar associations in the US and their attorney members. Additionally, Casemaker has expanded offerings to make finding legal information simpler, easier, and more efficient.
