Granada, in south-east Andalusia, is 55 kms from the Costa Tropical, 30 kms from the southernmost ski resort in Europe, venue of the World Skiing Championships in 1996, and is also handy for many other can’t-miss visits on any tour of the south of Spain, such as the Alpujarras, the Cazorla Natural Park, Seville, Cordoba, beda and Baeza.
We chose Granada as the home of Castila for many reasons, among them, its geographical situation and diversity: deserts and snow, sea and mountains, its magical light and its Moorish nights.
Granada is an unequalled historical and artistic setting, the city having been declared part of the Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, which makes it one of the most-visited cities in the world, thanks to the Alhambra, the Albaicn and Sacromonte districts, its enchantment and magic, its aromas and its colours.
