An educational children's show with paper-cut animation and live characters. It follows the daily life of Blue, a dog that communicates with its owner (formerly Steven Burns, now played by Donovan Patton) by leaving three clues around the house that have to be interpreted.

Aimed at children 3 years and older. Spinoff TV and direct-to-DVD movies were also made, in which Blue is played by a talking puppet when she is inside Blue's Room. In the original TV series, Blue never talks, but Blue's Room segments were introduced following a segment made in 2004.
