Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is one term for the responsibilities or obligations that corporations have towards their stakeholders. There are no exact definitions of these responsibilities, stakeholders or the degree of enforceability of CSR.

Other terms for CSR include corporate citizenship, corporate responsibility, sustainability, corpobligation, green corporate standards, 7 generations of planning, etc..

Responsibilities: environmental, human rights [[1]], labour, community, charity, governmental, financial, etc.

Stakeholders: employees, debt holders, stockholders, communities, governments, citizens, neighbours (neighbors for the Americans), nature, animals, states, everyone.

Enforceability: voluntary, legal, media/NGO/community/consumer pressure or some combination of these measures.
