Category:E-cards

E-cards, or "electronic greeting cards," were invented shortly after the birth of the World Wide Web. Ecards are typically created on a website: the sender picks an image or animation, types in a personal message, and enters the recipient's email address. The ecard website then sends a pickup notice to the recipient. The recipient can then use the link in the email notice to "pick up" the personalized ecard.
