About Us
The First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association is a fraternal benefit society founded in 1892 in Cleveland, Ohio. Under the leadership of Mrs. Anna Hurban, FCSLA was formed to address the insurance needs of individuals of Slav descent. Today, FCSLA has grown to over 230 senior branches and 200 junior branches in 12 states, representing over 75,000 members and their families.
FCSLA and its members are actively involved in the Church, Catholic education, social and civic causes, and providing aid to those in need. The association supports the Villa Sancta Anna home for aged members and sponsors $164,500 in annual scholarships for young members.
